AZOR ADVISORY SERVICES PRIVACY POLICY

Beth Azor and her company Azor Advisory Services, Inc. (collectively “Azor”) owns and operates www.BethAzor.com (the “Website”). Azor has established this Privacy Policy to describe how it collects, uses, discloses and transfers the information you enter, provide and/or generate through use of the Website. This Privacy Policy does not apply to other communications that you may have with us outside of the Website, or information that Azor may obtain from third parties. By accessing or using the Website, you are indicating your acknowledgment and acceptance of this Privacy Policy, which may be modified from time to time without notice to you. Please read it carefully.

TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT

“Personal Information” is information that you provide to us which personally identifies you, such as your name, address, email address, and/or phone number.

“Aggregated Non-Personal Information” is information about our users and their computers or devices that are collected into groups so that it no longer reflects or references an individually identifiable user. Azor automatically collects information from your use of the Website. For example, Azor may automatically collect your browser type, operating system, CPU speed, referring or exit pages, click patterns, and computer’s IP address. Azor may also automatically collect general information about use of the Website, such as the pages viewed, the order of pages viewed, the frequency of access, the time spent on the Website or portions thereof, and other similar user statistics. Azor also uses cookies to enable users to specify unique preferences and to track user trends and patterns. Users always have the option of disabling cookies via their browser preferences. If you disable cookies on your browser, please note that some parts of the Website may not function or may be considerably slower. As an automatic process, Azor may record IP address information, but does not ordinarily link IP addresses to users’ Personal Information, other than for statistical analysis as needed. However, Azor can and will use IP addresses to identify a user when we, in our sole discretion, determine that it is necessary to enforce compliance with the Azor Terms of Use or to protect our service, site, customers or others.

Azor may obtain information about you from third parties. For example, when you interact with us through a social media function such as a plug-in (e.g., a Facebook “like” button) then you may be permitting us to have on-going access to some information from your social network profile (such as your name, email address, your friend list, photo, age, gender, location, birthday, social networking ID, current city, the people/sites you follow, and so forth), to the extent allowed by your settings with the third party platform or site. We may also obtain information about you from a third party data aggregator, cookie technology operator, advertising network, or another type of data company.

E-mail Requests for Information

We may use links on the Website to provide you with the opportunity to contact us via e-mail or through other means to ask questions, request information, register or provide comments and suggestions. We may send you an email or text message as part of the registration verification process. However, we will never contact you via email to ask you for credit card information, bank account numbers or other sensitive financial information.

Links to Other Sites

Azor is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any other web sites to which the Website links or which link to the Website. By clicking on a link, logo, advertisement or other item, please note that you may no longer be on the Website. To check what Internet location you are on, note the URL at the top and/or bottom of your browser. We encourage you to read the posted privacy statement of each new site you visit when browsing, as this Privacy Policy does not apply to sites other than the Website.

DISCLOSURE TO Third Parties

As part of our regular business operations, we may transfer your Personal Information to certain third parties with whom we contract for the limited purpose of providing services. These service providers are obligated to protect your information, and they do not use your Personal Information for their own commercial purposes.

Azor may also engage third party intermediaries to provide our users with additional offerings and services. Azor makes no representations regarding these third parties and their use of Personal Information. Please refer to the third party’s site and terms of service for their specific privacy policies.

Security

Your information is stored on our servers located in the United States. We treat data as an asset that must be protected and use tools (encryption, passwords, physical security, etc.) to protect your Personal Information against unauthorized access and disclosure. However, as you probably know, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, and other users may abuse or misuse your Personal Information that they collect from the Website. We will use all commercially reasonable methods to keep Personal Information securely in our files and systems. Please note that with current technology, we cannot guarantee the security of your data from all possible attacks or intrusions on our servers or guarantee the security of your data as it travels over the Internet. Thus, you hereby release Azor from liability for any such possible attacks or intrusions that might compromise the security of your data.

Children

We do not use the Website to knowingly solicit data from or market to individuals under the age of 18. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at beth@azoradvisoryservices.com. After notification, we will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.

Governing Law and International Users

The Website is controlled, operated and administered by Azor from its offices within the United States of America and this Privacy Policy is provided in accordance with and subject to applicable U.S. law. If you are based outside the United States and decide to access the Website from your location outside of the United States, you hereby agree to be subject to this Notice and waive all privacy-related rights in other jurisdictions that conflict with U.S. law or the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use on this Website.

The terms of this Privacy Policy are governed by and in accordance with the laws of the state of Florida, United States of America. You should not provide us with any Personal Information unless you consent to the application of United States law and, where applicable, Florida law, and to the use and disclosure of your information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Legal Disclaimer

Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose your Personal Information when we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with applicable law or a current judicial or administrative proceeding, a court order or legal process. If Azor is served with legal documents that it believes will require it to disclose your Personal Information, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of the request (unless we are prohibited by law from doing so) to give you an opportunity to object to the disclosure of your Personal Information before the judicial or administrative body in which it is being requested. Azor will use good faith efforts to notify you of the request with sufficient time for you to object to its disclosure. In the event that you do not object to the disclosure or your objection to the disclosure is unsuccessful, you agree that Azor shall have no liability for disclosure of your Personal Information where Azor has a good faith believe that it is required by law to do so.

BUSINESS TRANSFERS BY AZOR

If Azor undertakes or is involved in any merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets or bankruptcy or insolvency event, then we may sell, transfer or share some or all of our assets, including your Personal Information. In this event, we will notify you before your Personal Information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
